Welcome to Dreams of Tomorrow: A semi-literate warriors RPG! We are a lake-based warriors RPG, set in the times after Visions of Shadows and the Broken Code, and featuring the four original Clans, SkyClan, and two unique rogue Clans: Yijiao and Viperion!
Warmth has returned to the lake territories, and the prey is running well. Medicine cats are appreciating the chance to evaluate their herb stores and toss out old supplies. But the cats are not without problems: many Clans are changing leadership, and Twolegs often plague the territories, swimming in the lake and walking their dogs.

Those In Charge ThunderClan has been simply enjoying the weather, with not much else happening over the past few moons. Rumor has it that Maskedheart is preparing to retire, and Hollyleaf has had her eye out for a new deputy, but things are quiet other than that. Shadowleaf, at least, has her paws full with all of the queens and elders, but she doesn’t seem to mind her busy schedule during this time of peace.
Bans and Encouragements There are currently no bans in ThunderClan! Though it is the largest Clan, new characters are still welcome. Genders are even, but as always, nonbinary cats are very appreciated. Older characters are discouraged, as ThunderClan has an excessive amount of senior warriors and elders.
Those In Charge The death of Icestar barely seems to have caused ShadowClan’s bloodthirsty leadership to waver. Maplestar and Redflower are a true power duo. They’re stronger than ever, perhaps even more so than the combination of Icestar and Mapledream, which doesn’t bode well for peace around the lake territories. Privately, Redflower has been plotting with her mate to take over. Rowanspirit, meanwhile, is still doing well and seems confident in his ability to care for the Clan.
Bans and Encouragements There are currently no bans in ShadowClan! She-cats are somewhat encouraged to even out the genders, and older characters are slightly discouraged due to their sheer amount of senior warriors.
Those In Charge Peace has come to WindClan at last, and its members have been glad about the lack of major events over the past moons. Flamestar is starting to talk to Swallowstripe about retirement, but they seem to be in no particular rush; the leader still has plenty of lives despite her old age. For her part, Ryewhisker has been handling the moons as they come, steadfast as always. She is enjoying the warmer weather, and rumor has it that the three-legged medicine cat is keeping an eye out for a potential apprentice of her own.
Bans and Encouragements There are currently no bans in WindClan! New characters are especially encouraged for this Clan, as it is one of the smallest. Toms are strongly encouraged, as are expecting queens, but apprentices are slightly discouraged in order to give the current group a chance to age out of the den.
Those In Charge Even though the influx of foxes has been thoroughly dealt with, the situation in RiverClan is still uncertain. A newleaf flood did a significant amount of damage to the camp, and Frostedstar lost a life in the ordeal. The Clan is starting to worry; he’s getting up there in moons, and this is far from the first time he’s lost one of his lives. Snowstep and Ripplepool are concerned, but at the same time, Ripplepool has seemed a little distracted. Those with a keen eye might realize she’s been away from her den quite often, meeting with a certain tom.
Bans and Encouragements There are currently no bans in RiverClan! However, they have a lot of apprentices at the moment, and the same goes for senior warriors. The older character situation is likely going to be an ongoing issue for all of the Clans until the next major battle or whatever.
Those In Charge After being attacked and losing two lives to his own daughter gone rogue, Coalstar has stepped down from his position, retiring to senior warrior rank as Coalstorm. Fallenstar is now SkyClan’s leader. Despite her youth and inexperience, she is eager to prove herself. Nettleheart, her mate, has taken the role of deputy. Meanwhile, Acornleap is still working with Tansysight, making sure her former apprentice has everything she needs for the inevitable day when she will be SkyClan’s only medicine cat.
Bans and Encouragements Due to a massive influx of kits, SkyClan currently has a full ban on all new characters. This ban will be lifted once their numbers have had a chance to even out.
Those In Charge Life has been good in Yijiao. Helfeirch is still a powerful teller, and she seems even more confident now that she is running the group alongside her heir. Carnivore has settled into the position of vice as if it were made for him; he is talented and formidable despite his relative youth. The only issue for these cavern-dwelling cats is that contracts have been few and far between. Many assassins and bounty hunters have been getting restless, venturing out of the caves just to stretch their legs, and making the local rogues and loners very nervous in the process.
Bans and Encouragements There are currently no bans in Yijiao! Cats of all ages and genders are appreciated. Contract keepers and new queens are especially encouraged!
Those In Charge Viperion’s era of stability has passed with the death of its first monarch. While Vagabond has taken the throne and asserted his control over the group, nobody can deny that times are changing, and nothing seems set in stone anymore. The new monarch has declined to select a lieutenant so far, but he has chosen his own set of royalty, with only Regina retaining her old title. They will need to be ready for what the future holds; strange cats lurk at the borders, and echoes of the past seem to be coming back to life.
Bans and Encouragements There are currently no bans in Viperion! Elders are encouraged, but cadets and kits are discouraged, to give the current group a chance to grow up. Please note that royalty and fen are both locked to in-play promotion/demotion only.

❝ We're gonna take the world on ❞
Small, white paws trotted soundlessly across the ground, claws out and ready to attack. The rabbit den was near, and Rockpaw knew all too well how quick the rabbits were. She kept her tail low to the ground and lowered her body parallel to the snow-covered earth as she stalked stealthily forward, grey-blue eyes alert and focused on her surroundings. There! The flash of a white, cotton-like rabbit tail ahead amongst the grass. Rockpaw's heart pounded in her chest, and she took a deep, but silent breath so as to focus herself. Hunting just gave her such a rush. She bounded forward and in a few quick leaps was on top of the rabbit, claws sinking into warm flesh before the poor creature had time to dart away. She quickly bit the plump rabbit's neck to put it out of its misery. Not a bad sized catch for the small she-cat. Gathering it up in her mouth, eyes blazing with delight, the long-haired calico bounded off towards the nearby Lookout Rock, joyous that she would be able to eat her catch and look out on the territory, just as the sun was about to set.
Crawling to the top of the rock, the she-cat set her catch down and laid across the rock, pushing off any snow that was in her way with her paws before settling into the perfect spot. Grey-blue eyes fell across the scenery in front of her. This was what she lived for. A beautiful sunset, a fresh catch... The only thing that was missing was some company. If only Pebblepaw cared at all about socializing, perhaps he would have come out with her. She rolled her eyes to herself at the thought of her littermate, who was always focused on his alone-time or battle training. He needed to let loose, in Rockpaw's professional opinion. The apprentice found herself trapped in her own thoughts as she began to eat her catch, the warm meat filling and warming her as the orange and pink rays of sunset began to fall on the scenery around her.
"You're supposed to bring prey back to the Clan first, you know."
The black-furred tom prowled over to stand on the rock a few tail-lengths from the apprentice, glancing between her and the rabbit with an amused smirk on his muzzle. He shook out his pelt, warding off the cold, and a spider fell off him; upon closer inspection, the warrior was covered in spiders. But if he knew, he seemed unbothered by this fact, and instead tilted his head at the calico before him.
"Just saying. I don't care one way or another, but another warrior might, especially seeing as we're in the middle of leaf-bare," Voleblaze lisped. Then he grinned slightly, long canine teeth glinting in the light. "I won't tell... but only if you share. I'm starved." Not waiting for a proper invitation, the black cat shuffled closer and snagged a bite of the large meal. Another spider scuttled away as he withdrew, crunching on a bone.
After a moment, Voleblaze spoke up again. "What's an apprentice doing out here alone, anyway? Your mentor not keeping you busy enough?" A few moons ago, not even a grown warrior would have dared to be out in the territory alone, not with the memory of LeopardClan's invasion haunting all of them. But now... well, he supposed enough time had passed that the new generation of apprentices and kits had been born after Icestar's reign was already over. It was strange to think about. Not that he wasn't happy that time had started to heal those wounds; it just made him feel old.
StarClan, but he was thinking too much. He'd come out here to torment an apprentice, not go into an existential crisis.

❝ We're gonna take the world on ❞
Rockpaw's blue-grey gaze flicked instantly to the black tom as his somewhat malicious voice could be heard. She flicked her tail in interest, curious what Voleblaze possibly wanted from her. He was a member of the clan that not many liked, but that didn't phase the happy-go-lucky apprentice one bit. She was quite sure there was more to him than most cats knew, and she didn't mind getting to know him a bit better. Those spiders, however... She pushed her rabbit towards him as he took an unoffered bite of her catch. "That's fine, I don't mind sharing." She mewed gently. He was right, she probably should have taken her catch back to the camp to share with everyone. Pebblepaw wouldn't be pleased with her. But, she was a proud young apprentice, and clan loyalty wasn't exactly on the top of her radar at this exact moment, or any really.
"Windstorm keeps me plenty busy." She mewed, slightly defensive of her mentor. But she knew Voleblaze didn't mean it in a negative way. Or, if he had, she wasn't intending to give him much of a reaction to go off of. The last thing she wanted was for Voleblaze to say anything negative about Windstorm. "I was just enjoying the beautiful day and thought a nice warm rabbit might make this moment even better." She purred, reaching forward to take a bite out of her catch. As she chewed, she let her gaze fall over the older tom. He was such a character. Jet black fur, green eyes, and those strange canine teeth. But yet again, those spiders... "And what are you doing out here? No apprentices in camp to torment?" She mewed, tone light and teasing. "And why did you bring so many friends?" The fluffy calico questioned, gesturing with a small white paw towards a spider that was crawling a bit too close to her for comfort. Not that she was necessarily afraid of spiders, but what cat in their right mind let them crawl all over them? Sure, Rockpaw's fur was often tangled with multiple forms of debris, but certainly not spiders!
